How to Write an Active ResumeWriting an active resume is not that difficult. In fact, the process of writing an active resume is a lot like a simple writing a well-written story. You must have a compelling storyline. You must come up with a good summary of your accomplishments, expertise and relevant experience.But first, let us look at the very concept of an active resume. The active resume is simply an organized resume designed to attract job offers. It is basically a job application paper that provides a unique perspective of your skills and experience in a format that it would be accepted by most employers.A resume can be divided into two basic types; it can be an information resume or it can be a full-fledged resume. These are very similar in structure, but a full-fledged resume can be used as a summary while information resume is more like a resume format where you use it as a resume for every potential employer.So, how do you write an active resume? Well, there are basically t hree main components; you need to develop a strong vision and goal in which you want to achieve and an objective statement that will help you define your specific objective, an introduction and an organization.The organization should be your personal and professional purpose statement. This must explain why you are applying for the position and why you want to join that company and a brief description of your achievements. A very important part of an active resume is your objective statement.Make sure that your statement describes a consistent goal that you want to reach. A statement like 'I'm applying for this position because I want to meet my employer's specified goals'.If you want to apply for that targeted position, ask your boss if it is feasible for you to attend that particular meeting or presentation. If you have enough time, set a date and time for the presentation.
